This photo was taken on a fishing trip to the Williamson River area near Fort Klamath Oregon in the summer of 1993. This photo was taken on the Wood River near the source. The Wood is a spring creek & the headwaters is a pool where the water bubbles up from an underground river.

This photo was scanned from 35 mm film - the slide wasn't in the best shape & has some damage I couldn't fix in post-processing on the left side, but the colors were so great I wanted to post it anyway.

One of my favorite business signs in Seattle (2nd after Reasonably Honest Dave's Appliances on 14th Ave. E). I took this photo in the 1980s sometime, I'm sure the business is now long gone. I thought it was a hoot that it was one stop shopping for insurance, getting your taxes done, notary service AND plumbing. Total jack of all trades scenario.

This business was in Chinatown, just off of Jackson Street, probably on Maynard or 7th Ave. S.

San Francisco sight - Beavertail hair man

I don't know if this guy's homeless or not, but you see him often walking around downtown San Francisco. His hair is matted into a single long flat dread that looks completely disgusting. As you can see, it hangs down to his knees & either he or his dread reeks. One more "only in San Francisco" moment.

Just as the leaves on the ornamental maple were starting to turn. Using the old Canon AE-1 and film, I think this came out pretty well.

Photo of Bartok taken with my old Canon AE-1 Programmable & some outdated film. Very slow shutter speed - he's not fast, but with a 1/15 shutter speed, it's tough to catch him. I've since bought an old FD 50mm f/1.4 lens, so I should be able to get some better low light shots.
