Jezebel - Capitol Hill remodel
Picture of Jezebel from around 1991 or so. I was remodeling a house on Capitol Hill in Seattle while living in it. What a mess.
Jezebel was sort of prissy and during the drywall sanding stage of the remodel, she absolutely hated walking around the first floor of the house. You can almost see her walking on tiptoes.
Definitely a transitional period in my life - I spent about 3 months living in hellish drywall dust while re-sheetrocking the entire first floor of a very large turn-of-the-century foursquare house near Providence Hospital. I worked on it every night after work and most days on Saturday and Sunday.

from Lee's Deli on First Street. Lee's is OK, but it's a pale imitation of Bakeman Chinese in Seattle - I have fond memories of getting yelled at for ordering my sandwich in the incorrect format (meat, bread, condiments - in that order).

Advice for tourists in San Francisco
One piece of advice for tourists visiting Baghdad by the Bay:
Unless it's raining, never step on a wet spot on the sidewalk. If it's not raining, the wet spot is pee. Carefully placed for your enjoyment by one (or more) members of the army of homeless crackheads that San Francisco maintains exclusively for your viewing pleasure. Take care & enjoy your visit to our lovely city.
