Hobie sleeping on the stairs - it's a good spot because virtually all the traffic in the house walks by this spot. If anyone's getting fed or coming or going, you're going to know about it if you're sleeping here.

The remastering brought a lot of the vocals forward for those of us who've been listening to the previous CDs. Like Eliot Spitzer, they're very clean.

Lopez Island panorama
This is a stitched panorama taken last week on Lopez Island, Washington - I'd recommend following the link to flickr and opening it up in all its glory. It's a big file (12,000 X 2,299 pixels in the large size), and it's got a fair amount of detail.
I'll be starting to post entries about this property - we're in the process of designing a house for the site with an architect and will be, hopefully, building a house on the site within about 18 months or so.
